Brief Description

Quadient is looking for a Solutions Consultant – Presales to help us grow our business in Japan.

As Solutions Consultant you will be focusing on providing prospects with an understanding of how Quadient’s solution can add value to their organization. This is achieved through requirement gathering, providing demonstrations, responding to proposals, and supporting the respective Sales.


The ideal candidate has experience in the field of providing Information Technology Solutions and/or Customer Communication Management (CCM) solutions.

Essential requirements for this role include: 

  • An independent and self-directed profession that prioritize business success and sales driven
  • Customer Presentation and Solution Demonstration Skills
  • Ability to understand business challenges and address it using Quadient solutions and/or products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A creative thinker with a desire to learn
  • Able to work under pressure and the ability to adapt to change
  • Strong Business Acumen and High-Quality Standard
  • Being proven a successful Solution Architect i.e. Instrumental in Major Business Wins in Software Industry

What else would be great? 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills - Japanese
  • Knowledge of printing applications, layout and any other form of electronic communication.
  • Knowledge of Customer Communications Management (CCM) or Enterprise Output Management (EOM) solutions.
  • 5 years experience in Presales & Sales Engineer roles
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks effectively
  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • Able to communicate in Business English – Spoken & Written


What would you be responsible for: 

  • Present and demonstrate the Quadient’s solution to help achieve the Sales team to win.
  • Work with the Sales team and partners to help develop solutions proposals.
  • Ensure smooth engagement and transition of customers to the Professional Service team.
  • Contributing technical and product information relating to proposals or requests for information
  • Recognizing and communicating opportunities to up-sell based on solutions insight
  • Actively helping develop product expertise
  • Participating and contributing to community work and cross operational co-operation
  • Representing Quadient at marketing events
  • Discovering customers’ business pains and identifying solutions to address them
  • Interacting with Product Development & Product Marketing Teams about new releases and new functionality
